Jibadoo Beginnings

We are a small startup childrens clothing company in Sydney, Australia aiming for products at the point at which clothing and fun meet. We believe that childhood is a time when practicality and functionality in clothing can go hand in hand with play and fun.

Beginning our range is that irresistable pinnacle of georgeous girliness – the pettiskirt. Every little girl should have one – and so should every occasion.

Before beginning our range we sourced skirts from suppliers and retailers all over the world, to find the best – all pettiskirts are NOT created equal. It’s a tough call – there are some like a puff of ruffles, that look amazing in photos but are stiff and unyielding in reality. Then there’s the silken flowy ones that are a joy to see and feel during activity – but are not quite the same fullness. There are quality questions – the ones that run, the ones that stretch, the ones that are too heavy and the ones that are too light. And then of course there are the endless combinations of colours and layers that come together to create the end product.

Yes, we know pettiskirts.

And we think we’ve finally found the perfect one – full and fluffy without being stiff, fluid and flowing without being flat, for your princess to run, dance, and fall asleep in exhausted (yes, it’s that soft). And we will be combining it with our innovative designs and colour combinations, to suit the character and attitude of any child.
