ABOUT US

The firm was founded in the 1930s by Francis Patrick Kennedy in Brisbane. He was later joined by Peter McLaughlin, Bob Ward and others, and the partnership now known as Kennedy, McLaughlin & Associates was formed. The two existing associates worked in the practice with Peter McLaughlin until his death in 1982. All current partners joined the firm at various times as staff and subsequently attained partner level. The firm purchased its own premises in Spring Hill in 1989 and expanded these in 2003.

Kennedy, McLaughlin & Associates has a reputation of honesty and integrity in its dealings with clients. The firm is independent and provides quality professional services in the areas of financial reporting, compliance, superannuation, management and taxation consultancy.

The client base is varied and includes property developers, investors, professionals in the medical and legal fields, small businesses and individual taxpayers. This allows us to provide our staff with a variety of work. Outside consultants are engaged to provide professional training on topics relevant to the work performed.
