Kaye Tonkin (Founder/Owner/Stylist/Colourist) hails from Adelaide, South Australia as a foremost hair specialist. Tonkin, a focused and passionate entrepreneur, has managed over 35 Salons throughout New York City, Sydney and Adelaide.

Within the span of her vast career, Kaye has owned 4 establishments dedicated to appearance enhancement. In 1995, Kaye arrived in New York on Holiday. Kaye was truly inspired, and the decision to relocate to NYC was inevitable. After working independently for nine years, the demand for Kaye’s work claimed her as one of New York City’s most sought out stylists.

In 2005 Tonkin, opened K’s Salon. The Salon is renowned for its unique, dynamic team of New York City’s most elite stylists. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, K’s Salon still stands alone as the only five star salon on the Upper West Side. Tonkin has set the precedent as a master colourist, and perfection stylist.
