“Got a full set of Acrylic nails, they were over priced at $52, all shaped wrong, they were very rough with my fingers pulling and twisting all different ways and sliced my fingers several times when using the electric filer. Not coming back! Also don’t make simple conversation.”

“I “treat” myself to a pedi and occasionally a manicure too around every five weeks always finish up l’amour Stockland as there is no where else to go in Balgowlah. I would never visit the “spa” on a Saturday as it’s manic at best. I made an appointment yesterday as it was a Sunday I thought it would be quieter sadly not! After choosing my nail enamel I was told to sit (climb over all the equipment ) in to a chair and wait while the footbath was filled with boiling hot water fortunately I tested first and some cold water was turned on I had to remind the lass that the water was about to overflow, a very lazy pedicure followed, when the polish was about to be applied I asked if I could put my thongs on first to avoid smudging the polish later. This was met with petulance and much bad temper as it involved fitting the thongs on my feet first (extra work), I insisted and won the round. Very occasionally I get a pedi /manicure which is a really pleasant experience here, mostly the girls are lazy and rude they charge top dollar and I wonder why I keep rocking up there every four weeks or so as my pay day treat ?? To add insult to injury I looked down at my newly pedicured toenails today and noticed a large chip on the big toenail it’s definitely time to go else where, perhaps Lamour will lose enough business to reconsider their appalling attitude to their loyal customers on second thoughts though the care factor here is nil it’s all about you paying at the end of your sub standard experience!”
