We’ve all seen horrible cases of badly applied lash extensions by poorly trained professionals that have caused serious damage to lashes. We know exactly what not to do, and pretty much have a no damage guarantee! We want to spread the importance of expertly-applied lash extensions, as what many people don’t understand is that lashes applied properly should not cause any damage at all (given that they are not pulled out or picked at by the client).

” “While performing in musicals, you are often required to use false strip lashes for all 8 shows of the week, which is not only time consuming but, 8 times a week you are left with gummy glue residue and even worse, you can end up accidentally removing your own eyelashes in the process of removing the glue! It can be a bit of a nightmare to say the least! During the original Australian season of Wicked the musical in which I played Glinda, I stumbled upon Lisa Vong and she and her meticulously applied individual lash extensions made my life MUCH easier! “”I have recently come to realise that there is an extremely high level of expertise required when painstakingly applying eyelash extensions. I have been a client of The Lash and Brow boudoir in Richmond for 2 years who have excelled at keeping my lashes thick and natural looking. I guess I just always took their high level of skill for granted.

At Christmas time I was in Adelaide a little longer than I had expected and booked into a chain salon that advertised lash extensions for some refills.
Wow, was that a mistake or what. My eyes were glued shut and the lashes that were applied were horrible, cheap star of thorns style clumps. They speared my lids every time I blinked. The ‘practitioner’ in question had to separate my fastened lids with scissors…it was horrific.

Which brings me back to my original point. You can never be too careful when entrusting the health of your eyes to anyone. The level of training, expertise, care and follow up from the girls at the Lash and Brow boudoir is second to none.

I have put pen to paper because I wanted you to know that these ladies are the best. The did not ask me to do this and Im sure they would be embarrassed at the attention, but they deserve it.
