“I wish I could provide photos. Had my hair bleached (badly) and ended up with orange bits and a green tinge to it. Got a “complimentary” session to tone it so that the orange was gone and I only had the slight green tinge. When I went to get my money back because it wasn’t what I’d asked for even after the second session (not a bit off, completely different because I’d asked for light silver and I got a light brown with a green tinge), I was told what I wanted wasn’t possible for my hair and that I should be thankful for the “complimentary” toning after they messed up my hair as if that wasn’t part of the job. At that point I showed them a photo of my hair being done the way I had asked from a previous time (clearly my hair wasn’t the issue because it worked just fine). Also got a keratin treatment before this. It lasted a couple of weeks before the ends of my hair frizzed up again (I was told it would last months) but I didn’t get a refund for that because I didn’t want to be growled at for “being unfair” again. My advice is for them to let the customer know before anything they do, whether or not they actually can achieve what the customer wants. If you’re unsure, just say no. Better to have all happy customers, than extra money and no one returning.”

“I had a great hair cut from Marissa! I’m happy to just get my hair cut without constant chat with the hairdresser and I found Marissa great with this without it being awkward. It was a little more than I would have liked to have payed ($48) for a men’s hair cut. However they would have spent double the amount of time on my hair than other places. The offer a juice, tea, coffee and soft drink too.”
