Leah’s Wax Works Beauty Salon Mid City

Leah’s Waxworks Pty Ltd was established in 1992 in the southern suburb of Hurstville.

Leah’s concept originated from her friendly personality in wanting to keep her clients happy by giving them treatments they wanted at an affordable price. She always gave her clients more for less, so that she could get a higher turnover of people which allowed her to keep busy.

She accommodated for clients all around Sydney. Her prices were so affordable that clients would travel all the way to Hurstville to get a full leg, brazilian and mini facial for twenty dollars.

Westfield’s then noticed her high demand of clientele where Leah had been sub-leasing within a small room at the back of a hair salon and followed on to offer her a lease in the Hurstville Westfield’s for a 3 year term with an incentive of $10,000 towards the fit out.

This then lead Leah to open more salons in Bondi Junction, Miranda, Eastgardens, Parramatta, Burwood and Mid-City. She stills plays a major role within her company.

She employs forty-five staff members and also sponsors certain therapists from France, England and Ireland. She also has created her own soft strip wax formula and will continue to grow in the Australian beauty industry for years to come.
