About Us

Liberty Physiotherapy is a specialist Physiotherapy clinic in the heart of Bankstown. Our consults are 30mins and are completely dedicated 1 on 1. All physiotherapists are extensively experienced in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide long lasting effective management and ensure you leave with an optimal return to fitness.

We further pride ourselves on delivering the most modern and ‘evidence based’ treatments which have been proven to work through scientific backed studies and clinical experience.

Hydrotherapy involves a series of gentle therapeutic exercises individually selected for clients (as distinct from swimming or group aqua-aerobics classes) and is carried out in a heated pool (33°C) under the direct supervision of one of our qualified and experienced physiotherapists.

Neurodynamics

We all know that your joints move and your muscles contract and stretch. But did you know that your nerve tissue also needs to move freely and unimpeded?
If your neural tissue is impeded then pain or restriction of your nerve movement is a common result. The adverse neural tension can result in nerve pain and limited motion.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwaves are acoustic waves with an extremely high energy peak like the ones which occur in the atmosphere after an explosive event such as a lightning strike or a sonic boom. A shockwave treatment differs from ultrasound therapy (another commonly used treatment modality by physiotherapists) by its extremely large pressure amplitude, as well as this ultrasound usually consists of a periodic oscillation whereas a shockwave is a single pulse.
