LifeFit Physiotherapy was established in 2008 with the philosophy of providing patients with accurate diagnosis, evidence based treatment and an empathetic approach to patient care. We are committed to providing high quality health care which has allowed the practice to achieve awards for outstanding professional medical services in the St George Area.

The LifeFit Physiotherapy team will always endeavour to provide patients with the ability to achieve their best level of function for a higher quality of life.

Meet our Team

Emmanuel Menegakis
Bachelors degree in Applied Science
Physiotherapy and Occupational
Therapy (USYD)

Emmanuel has over fifteen years of experience in the health care industry. His passion for providing high quality health care lead him to establish LifeFit Physiotherapy in 2008.

Emmanuel has a strong focus on hands on treatment along with educating patients on long term self-management of their injuries. He has worked with local elite sporting teams including St George Football Club, Fraser Park Football Club, Sydney Olympic FC and other clubs in the St George Football Association. Emmanuel enjoys being outdoors playing football, tennis and boating.

Diana Demetriou
Bachelors degree in Applied
Science Physiotherapy (USYD)

Since graduating in 2006, Diana has completed a range of post graduate professional development courses including pilates, womens health and sports taping.

Diana has a strong interest in injury prevention, exercise, fitness and healthy living. Diana has always been very athletic from a young age, training as an elite gymnast for the majority of her childhood, and understands the demands placed on the body when striving to achieve the best of one’s ability. Diana is heavily involved in her training in the gym and outdoors and will soon participate in her first triathlon event.

Barry Chan
Bachelors degree in Health and
Exercise Science (UNSW)
Masters of Physiotherapy (USYD)

Having worked with a number of sporting teams including elite sporting teams such as NSW Waratahs and Cronulla Sharks, Barry holds a keen interest in sports physiotherapy. As an aspiring sports physiotherapist, Barry has completed a number of post-graduate professional development courses covering dry needling, RockTape, thoracic spine and the hip.

Barry loves to play soccer, futsal, touch football, volleyball and has just picked up golf so he understands the demands of being an athlete.

Samantha Perri
Masters of Physiotherapy
Bachelor of Sport and Exercise
Science

Samantha is a trained Pilates Instructor, an accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia and a qualified fitness instructor.

Samantha’s passion involves a commitment to dealing with musculoskeletal injuries and lower back pain, posture and core strengthening rehabilitation. Samantha delights in seeing her patients return to better health and fitness. Samantha has always been very active and involved in an array of sports including athletics, netball, swimming, tennis, oz tag and dancing. Currently her interests lie in soccer, skiing and snowboarding.

Janette Griffiths
Diploma of Remedial Massage
Bachelor of Applied
Science Occupational Therapy
(USYD)

Jannette has represented Australia eight times at an international level in Baton Twirling. She has been involved with the sport for over twenty years and held the position of the Australian National Coach in 2013. This sporting background has provided her with an in-depth understanding and passion into sport and exercise preparation and recovery.

Currently, Jannette maintains her fitness by weight training and competing in minor running events such as the Sri Chimnoy half Marathon.
