As a touring musician and single parent of a delightful young man, I have little time for vanity but necessity to appear to the world like I have made some effort….I turned to lash extensions for time saving solutions, the excuse to have a nap thrice weekly during the daytime, the ability to appear awake even when tired, and the grace of rolling out of a festival tent at 9am after a big night and still look for the most part: stage ready like a boss!

It was a no brainer.

I knew I wanted to share the love, especially for efficiency but I also wanted to offer my ladies bang for buck seeing as I’d had my fair share of shonky jobs performed and felt kind of bummed with what I’d paid, often for what I got.

But – it wasn’t my place to judge others in their industry until I personally experienced the industry, so off I went…. I would do it properly, right, researched and on par with a global industry standard.

Who and Where; a brief history..

From Korea to Russia to the world…..

Lash extensions originated from Korea, and then Russia made a name with the volume technique (hence the style name Russian Volume).

They are a semi-permanent cosmetic application whereby fine lash extensions are individually grafted onto your natural eyelashes…….its a fine micro motor skill requiring precision through hours and hours of practice and application especially where the volume technique is utilised, creating a fuller, fluffier frame for your peepers.

Convenient

As an artist/performer and mother myself, I fell in love with the convenience and naturally glowing appearance of lash extensions.

Whether I was heading to work, at the gym, swimming at the beach or pool, performing in a theatre, pub or club, or rolling out of a tent at a festival after a big night and about to hit the stage for an early performance: regardless of my headspace, or hair, or general smell – my eyes were always “on” and “open” and I was ready to roll, coming up daisies in any further promotional shots.

Versatile

If you’re a fan of the shake and run hairstyle, this is the face equivalent! But also completely suitable for those who love to play shop with cosmetics or it happens to be a workplace requirement.

The best part of lash extensions is their versatility. You don’t need make up or mascara, but you can choose to add it if that’s the look you’re aiming for.

I have a number of girls who have sensitive eyes and can’t do mascara, or couldn’t find a natural mascara they were happy with, so they opted for extensions……

Presentable

If I’m heading to a Photo/film shoot or event with stage lights, I’ll pump them up a bit more with some oil free botanical mascara and my make-up routine for show.

For general work and dates/meetings, I generally don’t wear any make-up because I don’t need to, but can trust I am presentable with my peepers lit up and “awake” like I’ve made some effort with my lash extensions.

Application

2 – Technical methodz….

Premium Classic

Approx 1.5/2 hours

1:1 – 1 lash extension to 1 eyelash. Application time depending on the amount and width of your own lashes. Approx. 60 – 90 lashes per eye.

2D Volume/layering

Approx 2/2.5 hours

2:1. Approx. 130- 180 lashes per eye.

Lilly Bell Signature and top seller because of their soft feel, natural looking appeal, retention and look even after lash drop and tolerability for application time.

3D+ Russian Volume/layering

Approx 2.5/3+ hours

3+:1. Approx. 200+ Lashes per eye (Lots)

Great for really fine lashes to build natural volume. Can achieve a natural look OR make a BOLDER, Denser and Fluffier impact with 4/5D (no hiding those babies)

Coloured Lashes and Gems

Embellishments for you!

Currently colours are only available for classic style lashes however can be blended with 2D styles easily.

Coloured lash embellishments are no extra cost.

Full colour/ombre sets are available for an extra $20.

Available in ombre as well as block colours.

Swarovski gems are also available.
