About us

LIVE OPENED ITS FIRST STORE IN APRIL 1994 ON THE MURRAY STREET MALL IN THE PERTH CBD.

It was an instant success with the mainly 18 to 25 year old male and female fashion conscious consumer. The store had the feel of an industrial warehouse with music and lighting more suited to a nightclub than a retail shop.

As time went on LIVE became the destination for cool national and international labels and has expanded to become an 13 store operation in prime locations in the best shopping precincts of Western Australia and South Australia.

The store fit outs have won national architectural awards for retail design and are a major drawcard in shopping centres.

The concept is brash, confronting, stimulating and very modern and is the opposite of the traditional white walls wood floor approach that many fashion retailers adhere to.

We push the envelope to the extreme and engage the LIVE customer with retail theatre that challenges the senses.Product is the key ingredient to LIVE’s success.

The major destination for denim in Western Australia and fast becoming in South Australia, LIVE has a fashion mix that caters for the young aspirational customer.

The shopping experience at Live includes personal one on one customer service from enthusiastic sale team members who have extensive product training.

Live is a destination for cool national and international labels and has expanded to become a 9 store operation in prime locations in the best shopping precincts of Western Australia and South Australia.

Today we employ over 100 staff with a number already being with us for 10 years and many with over 5 years which demonstrates our commitment to training and development schemes and a focus on career development.

Once employed, Live provides staff with many opportunities for future management prospects and further development of retail skills.

Communication at all levels is created by an intranet known as The Source.

Only available in store and head office, this weekly online publication is the communication tool covering daily in store business reporting, staff incentives, team news, marketing news, merchandising ideas, product news and policy changes.

Company incentives for achievers are offered on a weekly basis with the December period offering major rewards to high achievers.
