Our Team
Sylvia Yong-Gonzales (Director)
As a child and teenager, Sylvia has always been a sporty and active person. She was and still is very interested in movement, from the flow to the biomechanics of movement. After finishing her Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy at University of Sydney in 2005, she continued to complete post-graduate courses to obtain further understanding of the body, function and pain. This has allowed Sylvia to look at each individual person holistically and treat their ailment using the Connect Therapy model (previously known as Integrated Systems Model). Due to the love of movement and dance, Sylvia was introduced to the Pilates Method and became an instructor through Polestar Pilates Australia and Clinical Pilates Australia. She is currently a mentor-in-training with Polestar Pilates Australia. She also completed the instructorship program for Kinesio Taping International. Sylvia has a special interest in Women’s Health, especially Pelvic floor dysfunctions post-natally. Over the last couple of years, Sylvia has attended and qualified to become a Cranio-Sacral Therapist and a therapist in Visceral Manipulation. When Sylvia is resting her mind and body, she loves to participate in basketball, pilates, yoga, martial arts, dancing, horse-riding and rock-climbing.
Sylvia is available to treat on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

“I have had a great experience attending Lively’s mums and bubs classes and now the trio sessions. Silvia tailors the exercises to individuals in the class (type and resistance) and tracks what we work on each week. I am so happy to have this business so close to home and feel the benefit of it for days after each class!”
“I found pilates really complemented my physiotherapy rehabilitation. Staff are friendly and experts in their fields. Highly recommended.”
