Long-Gone Wendie (owner and operator of Long Gone & Back) has collected original and reproduction clothing and collectables from the 1940’s to the 1980’s for well over 30 years.. Wendie is one of the original Rockabilly Gals in the Shepparton and Goulburn Valley area as: Founder & president of: “The Australian Rockabilly Association” (1990’s Caulfield dances)

Being a part of this scene Wendie arranged various dances and fashion parades displaying original dresses from her vast personal collection, some of this collection is now included in the items for sale in the shop.  

Other items have been sourced from local and interstate contacts and collectors.              

If you find there is something you require that is not in store have a chat to Wendie or Kathy, they will do their best to acquire the item for you, or could even arrange to have it made by our dressmaker.

Created in 1984 Shepparton Victoria Australia as Wendies Rock’n’Roll shop.

In 1989 there was a name change to “Long-Gone”.

With a move to the city in 1994 – “Long-Gone” Recycled opened in Blackburn South, .

2004 – “Long-Gone Antiques & Collectables” opened in Warrnambool.

2007 – “Long Gone” returned home to Shepparton selling products from “Long-Gones-Bizar-Shed” and online through Ebay.

2010 – Shop opened in Shepparton with the new and appropriate name

“Long-Gone & Back”.
