At the heart of it all is the creator and pioneer of Activewear and Active Living, Lorna Jane Clarkson. Since sewing her first one-off design in 1989 at her home in Brisbane, Australia, Lorna Jane has transformed her fashion vision into a world-leading Activewear brand and created a new fashion category.

Every month, new collections flow into more than 200 Lorna Jane stores across Australia and the United States, as well as stockists in Europe, the UK, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Of course, we always develop beautiful, fashionable garments made with high performance fabrics and utilise expert craftsmanship, but what makes Lorna Jane truly unique is that Lorna Jane created a new way for women to approach daily fashion and life.

What started as a passion to deliver unique and inspiring designs to fellow gym lovers has given rise to a complete and simple approach to overall wellbeing and mindfulness, the Active Living philosophy. Active Living transcends the walls of the gyms and studios – it is a central part of tens of thousands of women’s lives worldwide. This ever-growing, global movement inspires women to live their best, lives through Active Living. Active Living is achieved through the daily practice of Move Nourish Believe.

What some people don’t know is that the 3 Lorna Jane brand icons represent the daily practice of Move Nourish Believe. They appear on every garment are a constant reminder to the wearer, that Active Living isn’t just words, it’s a personal, everyday choice.

LORNA JANE DOESN’T JUST MAKE ACTIVEWEAR.
SHE INVENTED IT.
We all know the term Activewear. It describes the global phenomenon of fashionable workout wear that has transcended from gym and yoga studios to everyday life and for every occasion. From travel to shopping, all day, every day – Activewear is now truly everywhere. Lorna Jane Clarkson is the most awarded Fashion Designer of Activewear and was also the first to coin the term in 1989.

Frustrated by the dull and uninspiring range of Gym-wear available for women, Lorna took matters into her own hands and started sewing her own outfits while working as a fitness instructor in Australia. Her designs quickly gained a following, with the women in her classes queuing to place orders for her custom-made pieces.

After quitting her day job, Lorna began designing full-time. Demand increased and in 1990 she opened the first Lorna Jane retail store in Brisbane, Australia with her husband Bill Clarkson by her side. As awareness spread about Lorna’s technical yet feminine approach to designing active wear, the brand expanded with new stores opening across Australia every year.

There are now more than 200 Lorna Jane stores across Australia and the United States, as well as stockists in Europe, the UK, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The brand has ignited a global movement embraced by hundreds of thousands of followers. Now celebrated as an icon of Australian fashion, Lorna lives and breathes her brand’s values. Her role is overseeing the creative direction of her company, directing entire collections and marketing campaigns. Every day she continues to work on ideas to inspire others toward Active Living through her own practice of Move Nourish Believe. Today, the Lorna Jane brand stands for so much more than Activewear. It inspires women across the globe to live their best lives through Active Living and the daily practice of Move Nourish Believe.

Lorna’s first cookbook, NOURISH – The Fit Woman’s Cookbook was released in 2014 and Lorna’s first ever coffee table book ‘INSPIRED’ was released in 2015.

Shipping Information

Currency Used
On the Singapore website (www.lornajane.sg) the nominated currency used for all transactions is United States Dollars (USD$).

All prices displayed on the Singapore website (www.lornajane.sg) will be in USD$ and be inclusive of GST (Singapore domestic Goods and Services Tax).

GST (Singapore domestic Goods and Services Tax). All Singapore domestic customers and deliveries sent to Singapore delivery addresses from the Singapore Website (www.lornajane.sg) will be subject to Singapore GST.

The rate of Singapore GST is 7%. When Singapore goods are exported (sent to a delivery address outside Singapore) then the GST component of the price will be removed and the export price will be exclusive of GST.
Lorna Jane will publish or display the current shipping rates on the websites as applicable. Shipping rates may vary or be waived as part of promotions or sales on the website and the part or fully discounted shipping may cease at any time at the discretion of Lorna Jane. Lorna Jane reserves the right to change any or all of the following, at any time:

-Shipping rates charged to any destination;

-Delivery method;

-Carrier or shipping provider.

Online orders for delivery within Singapore are normally dispatched via DPEX Worldwide Shipping Service and usually arrive within 1- 3 business days from dispatch. Standard Shipping rates for deliveries within Singapore are: A flat Shipping Rate of USD$10 applies to all Singaporean deliveries of purchased goods of USD$150 and under. Standard Shipping is free for orders over USD$150 in purchased goods when delivered to addresses within Singapore. Universal Gift Cards are financial instruments, which are provided as a free service. Therefore Lorna Jane does not consider Gift Cards as goods and they do not contribute towards the calculation of free shipping within Singapore.

DHL are not able to deliver to PO Box addresses, when placing your order please provide a physical postal address. Orders should normally arrive within 3-5 business days from dispatch. Lorna Jane does not accept any responsibility for customs delays, duties or taxes that may apply in the destination country. International customers will need to check with their local customs office in regard to what, if any, duty you may be liable for when the order arrives. In some instances, Lorna Jane may provide an option to pay for any relevant Import duties upfront at the time of placing your order. The following countries attract a flat Shipping Rate of USD$10 for purchased goods of USD$150 and under. Standard Shipping is free for orders over USD$150 in purchased goods when delivered to addresses within the countries listed below. Please note this is transport costs only and does not cover any import liabilities that may be applied by the Government of the destination country.

ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS
On receiving the order the customer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault or damage. Should the items ordered not be of acceptable quality, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify Lorna Jane, as soon as possible. Please see Returns Policy for more information.

PRICING
Lorna Jane reserves the right to change prices without notice. All prices and orders are displayed and processed in United States Dollars (USD) and will include Goods and Services Tax (7% GST) for all orders being delivered within Singapore. Customers having orders delivered outside Singapore are exporting the goods and therefore shall not subject to the GST and this component will be removed automatically prior to final calculation for payment.

GIFT CARDS
Lorna Jane may from time to time make Gift Cards available on the website. Gift Cards when issued may be used only via the Lorna Jane Website in the country of issue. Gift Cards are treated by Lorna Jane as a financial instrument for payment for goods and services and operate on a deposit/withdrawal system as per industry standard practices. This means that Lorna Jane Gift Cards are provided as a free service to customers and do not constitute a purchase of goods and do not contribute toward the calculation of shipping costs or discounts. Lorna Jane Gift Cards are not considered as goods or services with a retail price and therefore: -They do not include GST; -They cannot be discounted and are not subject to any discounts.

ORDERING METHOD
Lorna Jane Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time if the order has: (a) discounts associated and is (b) deemed not for personal use. An exception may apply if you forfeit the associated discount. In this instance, a Lorna Jane customer care representative will make all reasonable efforts to contact you to arrange payment of the difference. In the event that you cannot be contacted within a time deemed reasonable by Lorna Jane Pty Ltd or choose not to pay the difference, all monies received for the applicable order will be refunded via the original payment method. As detailed in our shipping terms and conditions, all shipping charges are based on a parcel weighing no more than 2kg (4.4lb). If your order exceeds this weight, a Lorna Jane customer care representative will make all reasonable efforts to contact you to arrange additional payment for the variance in shipping costs before the parcel is dispatched. Parcel delivery may be delayed in the instance of contact difficulties. In the event that you cannot be contacted with a period of time deemed reasonable by Lorna Jane Pty Ltd or choose not to pay the difference, all monies received will be refunded via the original payment method.

What if I simply changed my mind on products I purchased at full price?
If for any reason you decide that you no longer want an item purchased from www.lornajane.sg, simply return it to us within 14 days of purchase and we will gladly offer you a refund, gift voucher or exchange (your choice) equal to the amount paid for the goods (except for any personal care merchandise). If you opt for a refund, this will be processed via the payment method used at the time of purchase. It is important however that the item(s) and any packaging and ticketing which the goods may have come in/with, are in the same condition as when they left the Lorna Jane warehouse. It is also important that you have a proof of purchase of the goods, clearly identifying that the goods were purchased from www.lornajane.sg. If either of these 2 conditions are not met, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with a refund, credit or exchange unless the item(s) are faulty.

Refunds, credits or exchanges will not be provided for change of mind for any personal care merchandise (such as lip balms, body scrub, intimate clothing etc.) Unless the products are faulty.

It is also very important to note that if you purchased goods that were clearly identified as faulty, defective or marked in any way and the reason the goods were faulty, defective or marked in any way was specifically drawn to your attention at time of purchase by a written notice displayed with the goods (including samples and seconds), the respective defect or mark will be discounted when considering whether or not the product is faulty.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a system update, we will be unable to reserve items for your exchange.

Typographical Errors
In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, Lorna Jane reserves the right to withdraw an item from sale, and to refuse or cancel orders. Lorna Jane will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received. This means that the credit card used to purchase the goods would be the destination of any credit that may be applicable.
