“I am a fairly frequent client at Lovely Nails and have usually been happy – but not today. The nail technician (glasses, long hair) did not take enough care when trimming the cuticles on my toes and made the cuticle bleed (she has done this once before) and then used a metal tool to trim the hard skin off my feet and cut the back of my heel! Both cuts felt very sore whilst I was shopping and I went back to the salon to complain, as I felt that open cuts on my feet could become infected, especially as I was wearing sandals. However, the young man I spoke to (who I can only assume was the Manager) apologised briefly (and explained how he thought it had happened) but did not offer me any compensation. I left feeling that my complaint had not been taken seriously and that my pedicure was not good value! I don’t know if I will be returning to this salon.”

“Went due to a friends recommendation, got the sns and was completely in happy. My nails were stuck to the skin at the ends and had excess globs on the skin all around it. The thickness was uneven across the nail. 2 days later they started cracking and lifting at the sides so I went in to get them fixed, the next day the sns came completely off the thumb nails and all the nails starting cracking and chipping away at the edges. It’s not been 4 days since they were fixed and only 3 remain.

Wanted to grow my natural nails to a long length and have set myself back and my nails felt weaker and had to be cut short again on the nails that chipped and cracked.

“Always so friendly and accommodating!! Everyone does an amazing job with both manicures and pedicures! Super clean and a huge variety of latest colours. Wouldn’t go anywhere else xoxo”

“Terrible nail salon. Got a fungal nail infection after a visit late last year. The owner offered me a free manicure as an apology. Today, I gave them a second chance and went to redeem the manicure. The salon was visibly dirty, the wash cloth that the ‘technician’ was using was covered in grime, so I asked the her to change it. Manicure was bad. Hands were soaked for only 2 minutes before she over cut my cuticles, leaving no cuticle at all. Further she cut my skin, making it bleed. A nail file was then used to ‘buff’ my nails. I walked out at this point because I felt so uncomfortable and upset with the state of my nails. Stay away from this place!”

“This is the cleanest nail salon and wouldn’t go anywhere else,I travel a long way just to come here and the people here r very friendly.i would only recommend this place there super fast and don’t take hours to do it!!to the people who don’t like it here I feel sorry for you because ur probably going to go to a nail salon that’s not hygienic and get an infection so good luck with that.i love this place”
