Cutting & Styling

The staff at Lunatic Fringe are frequently trained in the latest innovative cutting techniques including splicing, texturising, channelling and chipping, all of which, reflect the latest fashion trends.

Before cutting your hair, our stylists will consult with you and provide expert advice based on your individual preferences. We use Affinage Black Ice Heat Protecting Products to ensure your hair is protected from thermal damage.

Colouring

We use Australian Owned Affinage’s Professional Colouring System which uses a nourishing Diamond Blend™ and Activation Technology formula allowing for m aximum colour absorption resulting in perfect coverrage and intensity.

Our hair colours are complimented by using advanced customization techniques such as satellite, creative foiling, colour balancing, colour corrections, high-lighting, and low lighting to give you looks that are not available anywhere else.

Our master colourists are L’Oreal, Luminart & Affinage trained experts that can offer beautiful on trend color using the latest techniques. Whether you’re looking for a first-time color, trying a new look, or coming in for regular maintenance, our stylists will personalize your visit according to your unique needs.

Hair Extensions

At Lunatic Fringe we are experts in human hair extensions and varying methods of application. Our team is fully trained, qualified and experienced and will ensure your extensions look completely natural.

At Lunatic Fringe we understand that everyone’s hair is different and as such our expert staff apply your hair extensions according to your specific needs.

Unlike other extensions on the market, our hair extensions are gentle on your existing hair. We have several methods of application depending on your hair type and the look you wish to achieve, as well as different grades of hair to suit every budget.

Nails

ACRYLIC NAILS

At Lunatic Fringe  we have 2 highly experienced and award winning Master Nail Professionals who have a real passion for ensuring your nails are gorgeous.A full set needs to be refilled every 2 to 3 weeks as the natural nail underneath grows.

At Lunatic Fringe we allow up to an hour for a full set and 45 minutes for a refill. Any extras may increase this time.

FULL SETS

French or Natural – Your choice of Natural or French Tips then Acrylic powder is applied for strength and durability.
Coloured/Glitter/Airbrushed Tips – Same procedure as French except you choose a coloured/glitter/airbrushed tip.
Moon Dust Set – Same procedure as French except you add gorgeous dust to the ends.
Sunken Treasure – Clear tips are applied with micro balls, glitter, stars, moon dust, etc are applied then capped in a clear acrylic.
Acrylic Overlay – Acrylic powder is applied onto your natural nails, providing extra strength and shape without adding any length or extension.

REFILLS & RE-WHITES

ReFill – Required every 2-3 weeks, depending on growth and condition of your nails. Balance, cut down, shape, buff and colour polish (optional).
ReWhite – Required every 2nd visit, depending on growth and condition of your nails. Whites and pink are re balanced.
ReGlitter/Colour/Glow – Required every 2nd visit, depending on growth and condition of your nails.

New glitter/colour/glow is re balanced.
ReTreasure – Required every 2nd visit, depending on growth and condition of your nails. We add new treasure to your existing design.
Buff & Polish – Can be done in between visits for a special occasion. Nails are filed and polished.

NATURAL NAILS

Polish – Old polish is removed and new applied.
File & Polish – Same as polish except nails are filed and shaped then polished.
Manicure – Cuticle treatments including push back, then shaped & buff your nails. Hand lotion and a mini massage is provided before final nail strengthener and polish are applied.
Pedicure – Soothing peppermint foot bath soak, a salt scrub is applied for maximum exfoliation. A mini foot massage before your toe nails are shaped, buffed and polished and then placed on a massaging machine.

Beauty

At LUNATIC FRINGE we have an experienced waxologist that has over 20 years experience and uses The Highest Quality Wax available.

LADIES WAXING

Summer Bikini = Hair is removed from outside and just inside the panty line.
Dare Bikini = Be daring and take a little more off. Leaves a small v shape area.
Brazilian = Traditional Brazilian that leaves a vertical strip underneath.
Playboy = It’s all taken off! Everywhere. Everything front and back.

SPRAY TANNING

LUNATIC FRINGE offers one of the best  spray tanning services available in Adelaide with our experienced Spray Tanning Expert applying an even, classic spray tan quickly and easily, giving you a perfect summer glow all year around.

Our tanning solution has a powerful blend of vitamins and antioxidants to boost the skins natural sun kissed glow while maximizing hydration and fighting free radicals.

Quick drying, natural long lasting, no after tan odours, our tan is  naturally based and highly organic formula that works with the skin to create a customized tan every time.

Standard develops in 4-6 hours whereas Express develops in 1-2 hours.

Pre-Tanning Care

It is very important to exfoliate your skin prior to getting your spray tanning done. Pay particular attention to the dry areas such as the knees, elbows and heels. Your skin must be free from any moisturizer, oils, deodorants, make-up or perfumes before your spray tan appointment. Ensure you wait 24 hours after waxing or shaving before you spray tan.

Wear light loose clothing, preferably dark in colour and slippers or thongs to your tanning appointment and after tanning is completed. It is advisable to wear a g-string to get the best possible tan, but this is a personal choice so wear whatever you feel most comfortable.

We also supply disposable g-string in our salon free of charge if requested.

TINTING

Eyelash and eyebrow tinting offers amazing benefits whilst giving you a beautifully natural enhanced look. Recommended 1 per month for 4 months then every 6 – 8 weeks. The secret is to NOT let all the dye fade out or you will have to start the building process again.
