Shane Cleary – Senior Travel Consultant

Self confessed airline and cruise nerd, Shane is known in our office as the human airline and cruise ship encyclopaedia, with an amazing knowledge of intrinsic details of just about every type of aircraft and ship. Forget the internet, Shane is where you find out every detail about your flight or cruise. Of Irish blood, Shane has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and of course Australia.

Shane’s attention to detail and knowledge will help you create a trip that suits your individual needs and dreams.

Laura Astone – Travel Consultant

Laura has brought her skills and expertise from working in the travel industry previously and has an Advance Diploma in Tourism and a Degree in Management.

Laura has always been inspired by her travels, and has fallen in love with Croatia which is country rich in history, very affordable and still relatively untapped from a tourist perspective.“The beaches are pristine and lifestyle delightfully laidback,” says Laura.

But the one destination at the top of her bucket list is travelling to Norway – a land of glaciers, grand and glorious, and extraordinary fjords that cut into the jagged coastline deep into the interior.

Her one desire is to see the truly awe-inspiring Northern Lights that has to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Outside of work, Laura is a bit of a movie buff combined with her love of singing. Plus she is always ready for her next overseas adventure and discovering new destinations to travel to around the world.

It’s not often you find someone this passionate about life and travel and we’re all very excited about Laura coming on board.

Leah Harrison – Travel Consultant

Leah joins the team with a whole host of travel experience having visited 15 countries throughout Asia, Oceania, U.S. and Europe and obtaining an Advanced Diploma of Tourism and a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Marketing along the way.

Ever since Leah was little she always wanted to travel. “There is so much beauty, culture and history in the world; I wanted to see and experience it all! That’s one of the main reasons why I became a Travel Agent; I love helping people organise a travel experience with all the amazing things the world has to offer.”

With family in Croatia, Leah is a little biased towards this amazing country. Not only is the scenery beautiful from crystal blue waters to lush green forests, but the food is delicious and the locals are beyond friendly.

But her favourite place is Venice in Italy, which radiates old world charm, untouched by today’s modern world.  Of course the food, history, architecture and overall relaxed vibe of Italy is something that keeps bringing her back each year.

Outside of travel, Leah loves to cook and bake. Usually experimenting with putting healthy twists on old favourites. She also loves Yoga, getting out into nature and relaxing with some chocolate and a movie.
