“The take up of solar hot water systems wouldn’t be where it is today without financial incentives. Consumers are willing to commit to the large cost of these systems based on gas/electricity savings and expected rebates. A “Green” plumber should have current knowledge of these schemes which has generated much of this type work. Unfortunately Marriott Plumbing had no knowledge of the State Government Rebate. In addition, 6 months of me chasing them on this issue resulted in the expiration of my VEECs (certificates). Excuses were offered, promises were made, calls never returned. My hot water system installed in Dec 2012 cost (at least) over $1000 more as a result. NOT recommended as a “Green” plumber.”
