Established in 1988 and located on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast, Massage Schools of Queensland is a leading specialist in the provision of professional massage training throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane, delivering a series of engaging and rewarding massage courses. We are renowned for our high standards, excellence in teaching and utmost professionalism.

All of our classes are delivered face to face on campus with no on-line delivery. Our massage courses are designed to provide students with all the necessary practical and theoretical skills to enter the massage industry and all of our courses offer students priceless industry experience, allowing them to apply their newly acquired expertise on members of the general public through our state of the art Student Clinic. In addition to first class tuition, students at Massage Schools of Queensland enjoy a level of individual care and attention that is second to none.

Our Location

We are located in Burleigh Heads on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast – a world renowned surfing beach located on the southern end of the Gold Coast. In addition to our domestic students, we have a growing number of international students successfully undertaking studies at Massage Schools of Queensland.

If travelling to the school by bus, you may take a bus service to the Stocklands Shopping Centre, and then walk across West Burleigh Rd onto Kortum Drive and along to the school.

Our Values and Philosophy

Respect for the individual is important to the school, and a Code of Practice is followed by staff and students alike. A healthy lifestyle is encouraged and, as potential practitioners, students are encouraged to develop good communication and ‘people’ skills, and to maintain their own physical fitness.

We aim to provide students with an enjoyable, quality education experience, and to promote the practice and acceptance of Therapeutic and Remedial Massage Therapy within our community.

Massage students come from a variety of professional backgrounds and personal experiences, yet forge very strong bonds as they harmoniously work together to achieve their study commitments. Students are encouraged to practice their massage skills on a variety of different classmates to become familiar with different body types, and to gain a deeper understanding of individual client needs.

“HI there my name is Vivian. I just had my very first experience yesterday afternoon with Massage School of Queensland(MSQ). I had two hours massage (One hour should be a Remedial massage and one hour relaxing massage )which was $70 all together.the price was much cheaper than anywhere else but I have to say that the whole experience was not only unprofessional but also very disgusting. It’s long story to tell. I just tell some true fact now to help you make decision.
FACT 1: bring your own towel otherwise $5extra. (No body would let you know this before you get there)
FACT 2 : the massage therapist （ at least my one Mr T***） was absolute worst. He doesn’t know how to massage. He is not professional at all and he treated me like a piece of meat on the chopping board. He said he mixed up all different kind of massage he can do all the massage ( Every type). Believe me he is the worst experience in my life . He doesn’t know what he was doing and I just can not believe that he is the student in MSQ or what kind of school MSQ are??!
FACT 3: after massage there was a little feedback sheet. They will not ask you to fill it. I guess they more likely to fill it by themselves. Who knows~.but they would never write negative comments I guess. That is why I decided to leave without write any thing there.
FACT 4: my massage started at 3:15pm and finished at 4:55pm( where does the 20 mins gone?!) if is 5min I wouldn’t mention it. But it was whole 20min.

That’s all for now. All the words comes from my own experience and Its my real feeling. I am happy to let students have actual massage experience before they graduate. But I definitely don’t want to be a write mouse. I will never go back to him again never ever never. Thank you for reading. I wish I could help.
