Gifted with an innate sense of style, creativity and an eye for perfection Matthews’ career has evolved naturally. Originally hailing from Waterford city in the south of Ireland, he discovered his calling at an early age and as a teenager Matthew began working with top Irish hairdressing group Peter Mark. After 9 years mastering his craft he took on a new challenge in the form of a managment role at Hype hair salon. After 3 years of gaining all the knowledge he could and being instrumental to the success of this busy city centre salon, he decided it was time to broaden his horizions again and relocate to Sydney Australia where he took on the role of Premier stylist at the Orla Quinlan hair salon in Surry hills.

With a wealth of experience and know how, Matthew cares passionately about transforming how the cilent looks and feels. Inspired by fashion and the seasons trends, his skill of dissecting the trends and making them real for clients in a wearable way ensures he has a loyal client following.
