Meridians Acupuncture and Massage Clinic was established by Monica Seelig, currently operating out of Carina Therapies in Carina Heights.

Monica graduated from the Australian College of Nature Medicine (now Endeavour College) in Brisbane in 1996, and has been providing quality natural health care for almost 20 years.

She operated out of Southside Physiotherapy Clinic in Annerley until the birth of her first child in 2004.

In 2005, she joined the practice of Rosalba D’Agostino at Alba Therapies at Carina Heights. In 2013, the clinic was restructured under the banner of Carina Therapies.

Monica works alongside 2 other Chinese Medicine Practitioners, Rosalba D’Agostino and Louise Bennett, as well as Bryan Smith, behavourial Optometrist and Michael McClosky, Kinesiologist.

Monica aims to provide quality natural health care for those seeking a more natural and holistic approach to their health concerns, and also for those wishing to improve their health and well being.

Her special interests are in pain management and women’s health especially fertility enhancement and pregnancy care.

She is passionate about Chinese medicine, eating good quality healthy food and living a balanced lifestyle.

Treatment is tailored to suit the individual needs of each patient, and she incorporates acupuncture, Chinese herbs, point injection therapy, remedial massage, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, electro-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, education and dietary and lifestyle management into her treatments as required.

Monica is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an accredited Chinese Medicine Practitioner and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

Monica practices at Meridians Acupuncture and Massage Clinic 6 days per fortnight. She balances her acupuncture practice with being mum to 2 active young boys.
