We spend months researching yarns, washes and finishes to bring you technical fabrics that you can throw in the wash again and again, that stand up to the fullest days ensuring what you wear never stands in your way.

O U R W O O L | Very lightweight fabrics are intrinsically difficult to make from wool, but at Metalicus we believe in the luxury of fine fabrics and the ease of transeasonal layering. Our Nuyarn is sourced from New Zealand and is the finest wool yarn available. The technology behind Nuyarn allows us to offer a superior ultra fine wool that is perfect to be worn next to the skin due to the different structure of the yarn. Our wools made from Nuyarn have greater softness and comfort than those made from conventional yarns, they are free from spirality, 50% stronger, 35% warmer, dry 5 times faster and have superior performance than their traditional equilivents.
O U R C O T T O N | has been further developed to use the cotton linter; the short, downy fibre that enfolds the cotton seeds. We take these normally unused fibres and transform them into a precious resource Cupro. Cupro has properties that cotton doesn’t have, a softer and smoother touch to the skin, a breathable fibre with micro pores that quickly absorb moisture keeping you cool and reducing clinging and dampness. These features allow you to feel cool in Summer and warm in Winter making it comfortable to wear all year round.

O U R N Y L O N | We use Nylon with anti wicking properties and blend this yarn with a variety of newly developed technical yarns to create soft pieces you can throw in the wash again and again, that stand up to the fullest days. Whether you are biking to the office, taking a walk at lunch or dashing to make your connection, what you wear never stands in your way.

“A well stocked store with great bargain on metalicus fashion. Everything in the store was under $50! There were a few tops and loose stretchy pants I liked. The changerooms are readily available and the staff happy to help. The racks are quite full but it is easy to find your size as lots of pieces are ‘one size fits most’ or just S/M/L!”
