Tony has been a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for over 20 years. He has been a consultant physiotherapist to Sutherland Hospital and for Workcover NSW on their Low Back Pain Project.
Tony specialises in the treatment and rehabilitation of orthopaedic and sporting injuries and exercise prescription. He has particular interests in the treatment of the sporting back and headache. He spent six years on the MPAA Committee including the Organising Committee for World Conference MPA 2003.
Tony has been on the Olympic Athletes Program for the last 17 years starting on the AIS Road Cycling Squad and was physiotherapist to the gold medal winning Australian Men’s Hockey Team 1999-2010. He was Spokesperson for Physiotherapy for the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He has been involved professionally in many sports from the Socceroos to the Lilli Pilli under 6’s.
Tony is the director of Half day Rehabilitation and Outpatients at St Luke”s Hospital in Pott’s Point . Responsible for post operative cardiac, spinal, orthopaedic and multi trauma patients. He is also director of back@work software, a computer based exercise program.

Paula has been part of the team for over 16 years, initially as an employee, and then becoming a partner. She has over 20 years experience as a physio in both hospital and private practice settings. Paula completed her post graduate diploma in exercise and sports science in 1994, and then went on to achieve a Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1996. She is a titled member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
She is now working 3 days a week at our Caringbah rooms, and also attends a fracture clinic with an orthopaedic surgeon each Thursday.
Particular interests include -neck pain and headache
-back pain
-fracture management, including casting and splinting
She has also worked with disabled athletes over the years, at Paralympics wheelchair tennis and wheelchair athletics, and enjoys the challenge of assessing injuries from a biomechanical perspective.

Dominique Makzoume

Dominique completed her Graduate Entry Masters in Physiotherapy in 2007 at Sydney University. After a good grounding in her graduate year at a Prince of Wales, Dom then continued her experience overseas where she lived and worked in the UK in many areas including Orthopaedics, Neuro Rehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injury. Dom also developed a large amount of experience in Wheelchair Prescription and Postural Assessments in Adults and Children whilst working in several different Wheelchair Clinics across the UK.
Dom returned to Australia in 2011 where she started work with Metropolitan Physiotherapy and also at Wolper Jewish Hospital in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation.
Dom completed her Level 1 Sports Course in 2012 in Hobart and has attended many courses and lectures through the APA to further her knowledge on her areas of interest.
Dom has recently completed the Level 1 Watsons Headache Course and is looking to complete Levels 2 and 3 in the near future.
Her interests include Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Sports Physiotherapy. Dom is looking forward to being more involved with the Lilli-Pilli Soccer club and the Sutherland Hockey club in 2014.

Matthew McFadden

Having graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004, Matthew worked for two years in the NSW public hospital system, before joining the team at Metropolitan Physiotherapy in late 2007 after a period of overseas travel.
In the time that Matthew has been with Metropolitan Physiotherapy, he has acquired broad knowledge and experience and developed sound clinical skills in effectively treating musculoskeletal conditions. Given his keen sporting interest, he particularly enjoys managing sporting injuries, and returning sportspeople to peak performance in a safe and timely manner. More recently, Matthew has begun working closely with the team at Sydney Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of the management of orthopaedic conditions.
With a special interest in applying the principles of preventative and primary health care to his practice, in 2011 Matthew completed his Masters in Public Health. Matthew is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), and is a regular attendee of professional development activities.
Jennifer Gillett

Jennifer finished her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 2011. The following year she moved to Toowoomba, Queensland to complete her graduate program at St Andrews private hospital. After a year rotating through Medical, Surgical, Intensive Care, Neuro-rehab and Orthopaedics, she moved interstate from her hometown Brisbane to the more bustling city of Sydney.
Jen has a keen interest in Paediatric Physiotherapy.
She is a keen Skier and Cross-fitter.

With over 25 years experience as a physiotherapist, Kym has worked in major hospitals in Australia, Canada and the UK. Returning to Sydney with her young family in 2003, Kym began working on the Orthopaedic Ward at Prince of Wales Private Hospital.
Finding that she enjoyed the fast-track aspect of working in orthopaedics, in 2007 Kym commenced working on the Rehab Ward at Wolper Jewish Hospital and continues to work there on a part-time basis.
However she also has extensive experience as a paediatric physiotherapist and a particular interest on the 0-5 year age group. Kym has worked as a paediatric physiotherapist at Mater Children’s Hospital (Brisbane), BC Children’s Hospital (Vancouver), Sydney Children’s Hospital (Randwick) and University College Hospital (London).
Kym is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and also of the APA’s National Paediatric Group.
