Welcome to Michelle Jackson Hair & Style…

I am passionate about bringing a fresh approach to wedding hairstyling, keeping current in the latest techniques and trends, whilst putting my heart and soul into my work.

Inspired by the industrys best, I continue to create beautiful hair that will bring to life your best features… soft vintage waves, bohemian braids and effortlessly dressed updos, perfect for the modern free spirited bride.

My hairdressing career started in a busy Sydney salon 13 years ago, where I developed my skills as a professional hairdresser progressing on to train a team of emerging hairstylists.

I then moved to Newcastle and fell in love with being a wedding hairstylist. My business has continued to thrive and I am constantly evolving to offer my clients the latest dreamy bridal looks.

I provide a premium mobile service, focussing on wedding hair within the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas.

I provide my brides with a personal, one-on-one experience, from the first email through to the wedding day and beyond. Most of my local brides will stay on to be regular salon clients, or see me for a hair colour makeover before the big day.

I’m a perfectionist and I pride myself on delivering quality work, with every bride. My bubbly personality and down-to-earth nature, provides a relaxed atmosphere, imperative for such a busy time in your life.

Michelle Jackson Hair & Style is a premium, mobile wedding hair service to the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas, creating quality work in a relaxed atmosphere.

I liaise directly with all of my clients and I will be the one doing the wedding hair on the day, no back-and-forth with someone else.

I do not use subcontractors and I can assure you that every picture you see in my portfolio is work that I have personally done.

I follow the latest wedding hair trends, with an emphasis on relaxed, bohemian looks and soft upstyles.

I take immense pride in my work and love working closely with brides to create that perfect style for their special day.

Makeup Services 

If you require professional makeup services for your wedding day, I now offer inclusive hair and makeup packages with my preferred makeup artist.

Loren is creative, experienced and has a high standard of work creating flawless, beautiful and long lasting bridal makeup perfect for every bride.

Together we provide a relaxed vibe, perfect for the morning of your wedding and are passionate about what we do! Loren and I travel to you on your wedding day including the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas.

Pre-Wedding Hair Trials 

I highly recommend having a pre-wedding hair trial before the big day as this will help provide me with a clear idea of what you like, what suits you and the style of your wedding.

I have a boutique home studio space where I conduct trials from and I am available Wednesdays through to Fridays by appointment (some Saturday afternoons).

The studio features air conditioning and EFTPOS facilities for your convenience.

I am located only 5 minutes from the M1 and Newcastle Link Rd, convenient for Sydney brides and also brides travelling from the Hunter Valley which is approximately 30 minutes drive.

Pictures are a great way to show me what you have in mind, so be sure to save your favourite styles from Pinterest and Instagram.

Pre-wedding day trials also gives us a chance to meet in person so you feel completely relaxed on your wedding day!

If you are booking both hair and makeup, your wedding trial with Loren and I can be arranged together at my studio, for your convenience.
Hair Extensions / Padding

I can also supply hair extensions (clip in only) if you want more volume and or length in your desired style.

To match the colour up correctly to your own colour and to see the quantity needed I will need to see your hair first. There is no additional charge to fit hair extensions / veils, hair flowers or hairpieces on the day.

I can also supply and fit hair padding at no extra charge if needed to create that perfect result.
