Heidi Edwards

Pilates Instructor

Passionate, creative, and fun are some words Heidi’s clients would use to describe her teaching style. Her keen eye for movement, attention to detail, and encouraging approach ensure her clients get the most of each session. She enjoys creating unique exercise modifications to challenge her clients with a focus on neuromuscular strength training. She believes fitness should be fun, challenging and remedial by nature.

Growing up loving Competitive Gymnastics and Athletics, scoliosis and injury prevented Heidi from continuing these passions. After discovering Yoga in her early 20’s she became fascinated with the notion of movement as medicine and went on to complete her first 200 hour Teacher Training in 2010, transitioning into a career of Holistic Health and Wellbeing.

From her Yoga training she was introduced to Pilates, the combined modalities helped regain her flexibility and movement, treating her pain, while strengthening her core and changing her life in such a positive way she wanted to share it with others.

Since completing her training she is now a Certified STOTT PILATES® trainer of Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels. She has also completed workshops for Athletic conditioning, Injuries and Special Populations. Reviews

“Drew is a great Physio, great manner and gives clear expectations on getting back on my running feet. Fabulous service and would definitely recommend Drew with any sports injury.”

“Drew is amazing!
I have seen a lot of physio’s in my many years of playing rugby and Drew and the team are brilliant. They tell it how it is and Drew in particular doesn’t seem to be one of those people who want to drag out the treatment plans like most physicians i have known over the years. nice and refreshing. Also great to see people with great knowledge and different skill sets to improve their clinic.”

“Drew is one of the best Physio’s I have worked with! Training to fight and working as a PT I found I was constantly not working to the best of my potential. With Drew’s help on releasing my hips and thoracic I was able to always walk away feeling much better, with clear plan on the exercises I needed to do to ensure I reduce my visits.

Sharon looks after the massage side of things and does an amazing job! Despite my visits usually involving some serious work Sharon makes me feel clam and relaxed, whilst ensuring I walk away feeling amazing!”

“I totally destroyed my knee playing ice hockey and Drew has been amazing in helping me get back on the ice!

Drew was professional, realistic and worked around my schedule. I would be months behind where I am today if it wasn’t for his fantastic work.”

“Found the Physio to be good. Explained everything as he went along which was helpful. Gave me exercises to do at home.”
