“My GP randomly chose this Podiatrist to refer me to treat my chronic foot pain. First impression was this podiatrist was cold and dry as podiatrist struggled to even smile at first glance. They spoke a lot about the obvious, then mentioned they weren’t from the area and couldn’t refer me to get further checks. They didn’t offer me any names of products that could help my condition as is usually done, they mentioned getting an ultrasound or mri, but apparently “didn’t know” who to refer me to. So in all, my experience was disappointing. They charge $60, no rebate and comes in once a week, so long waiting times. They also sell casts for $500 and customized insoles. They recommended i go back to my “clueless” GP to get further referrals for the ultrasounds (what’s the point as they didn’t asked me to come back). They advised me on things i can do to help myself, and did not ask for any follow-up appointments to check on my progress. Basically, i didn’t benefit from my visit, and if you have pain in your feet and need urgent help, don’t come here.”
