Melissa has been in the hairdressing industry for over 4 years and spent her formative years training at one of the most reputable salons in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Melissa is the Senior Hairstylist at Mistic Hair where she demonstrates her talent, style and passion for the industry. Although hairdressing is where her heart is, she is also a qualified eyelash extension technician and freelance makeup artist.

Ashlee spent most of her apprenticeship based Sydney’s east where she has trained with Sydney’s leading hair stylists. She has enjoyed her time off on maternity leave for the past 14 months and looks forward to being able to express and excel in the salon.

We grew up in a humble household being the two eldest of five daughters, our parents migrated to Australia from New Zealand during our infancy and although it meant growing up without knowing our cultural history, it was the best decision they ever made. We spent most of our childhood in Wollongong and Sydney’s West and like most teens we flittered through different jobs, nothing really captivating the adolescent mind until we started our apprenticeships in hairdressing.

Our passion and love for the industry has only grown with time.
