A BRIEF HISTORY OF MONT-RO

A family owned Company which began in Brazil in the early 1940’s. Montserrat Pirotelli, an experienced European trained Aesthetician and her husband, Roberto Pirotelli, a Brazilian Biochemist researched and developed skin care products specifically for individual client needs.

Each product was a solution to a particular problem. The family migrated to Australia in 1971 and continued to develop their product range in Sydney. Observing the skin damage caused by the sun’s ultra-violet rays, Mont-Ro were innovators by introducing sunscreen into their range of day moisturisers.

In 1989, Mont-Ro expanded its operations by establishing a second manufacturing plant in North America. Mont-Ro products are now developed and manufactured in Australia and North America for the general public and for skin care professionals, and are exported overseas.

Mont-Ro in-house biomedical staff and Biochemists continue to research and develop new formulations utilising the latest technology with the highest quality ingredients.
