“They demanded credit card details when I rang them. The guy turned up without any tools to start & came back ten minutes later with them. He couldn’t tell me how much they charged & left within ½ hour. Before I was going to pay the bill, I asked three times by email how they calculate their charge of $242, before I got a reply that they charge $120 service call + $100/hr for a minimum of one hour. While I was asking this, they just charged my credit card for the call, even though their trading terms allowed 7 days to pay. When I objected I was accused of doing this to get a discount & warned not to say anything negative about them.”
