A WORD FROM THE OWNER

Hi I’m Paul Mudge, proud owner of Mudge Plumbing and Gas. I have been working in the plumbing industry for fifteen years working on projects from plumbing and gas maintenance on domestic homes and rental properties to commercial processing plants and mine sites as well as in construction from domestic renovations and shop fit outs to commercial sites and mine site camps.

I believe this has given me great experience in the industry across the field and a better understanding of what customers want and expect.  The one thing that really drives me is being able to leave a job with pride knowing that the customer is happy and that the job was completed to the highest standard.

With this in mind I saw the potential to start a plumbing business that provides a high quality standard service with great knowledge of trade, a service that made the customer still feel in control.  I believe that this has been missing from our industry and has been backed up by my returning cliental that not only trust me working in their own homes but also recommend me to their family and friends.  After all you wouldn’t trust just anyone to work on what you have worked hard for.

What Are The Advantages Of A Rain Water Recycling System?
Rain water recycling has  more applications then grey water recycling as it can be used not only in the gardens but also for flushing toilets, washing clothes and can also be used for drinking after it has been treated.  It is possible to reduce your mains water usage by up to 40% with the use of a rain water recycling system connected to a well plumbed storage tank.  It has a very low operating cost (power to run the pump) and because it is the water caught from your roof it is free and can provide water for your gardens and lawns without restrictions all year round.   Depending on the size and intended use these systems can usually be installed from $4,500 for a smaller system to around $15,000 for a large system.
