It is a joy to be able to give this gift to not only my daughter, but to all bubs and mums out there – something for which I am forever grateful.

Designer Profile

My interest in baby apparel and accessories, specifically bibs, began after I had my first child. Finding trendy and stylish items proved to be near impossible, and as my daughter is prone to reflux I found myself going through an endless amount of bibs.

I am passionate about bright and vibrant colours and I feel it should be celebrated amongst the styles our little ones are adorned in. Where I am from Colombia, South America, we celebrate colours in all aspects of our culture and life.

This along with a background in fashion design; complement my passion of new trends and styles.

When designing, I try to give the styles a trendy urban feel, so that even if your little one is dressed for an outing – My Little Love Heart bibs still make for the perfect additional accessory.

History

My Little Love Heart started with an idea in October, 2014 as my daughter grew into a routine, I started to have more free time, so I began to create clothing items for her from home.

Being new to motherhood I was reflecting on how important our little ones are for each parent and relatives alike, they are part of our hearts and they will always stay there and so, My Little Love Heart was born.

I relish every step of the creation process, from fabric selection, to sewing the pieces together, as well as photographing the finishing product. But the most rewarding gift of all is customer satisfaction.

Handmade Bibs and Baby Accessories

Our business was founded in 2014 shortly after the birth of our daughter when I wanted to incorporate my fashion design experience with the love of sewing to make useful items for her.

After many people commented on the quality and inquired where they could purchase the items I decided to start selling them at markets around Perth.

From here the business has grown from hand making bibs to adding a full range of products including bandana bibs, burp cloths, bunny teething rings, heart teething rings, top knots, headbands, gift sets and also our own Bandummy design.

Although we originally started selling product at markets this quickly grew to supplying wholesale businesses both locally and nationally and directly to customers around the world including Canada, France, Colombia and the United Kingdom.

We believe the success of My Little Love Heart is due to our items being well made and of a very high quality, simply we would not sell any item that we would hesitate for our own child to use.

In addition, we choose stylish and trendy fabrics and are regularly adding new fabrics and prints to keep our products up to date and on trend.
