As a therapist with over 20 years’ experience and located within Melbourne’s CBD, Christians’ expertise in a wide range of athletic environments contributes to both his success and positive results with many people throughout the community. Through the studies of Shiatsu and Chinese Medicine in the beginning of his career, Christian obtained many hands-on skills which contributed to much of his success in these early years, and claims the studies were the perfect foundation to build upon a business in massage.

Upon obtaining his diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies in 1994, Christians’ practice as a Massage Therapist began at the South Melbourne Fitness Center in 1995 after procuring a room to share, however it became evident of his need to adopt new skills within sports massage. After many weekend sessions at Olympic Park Sports Medicine to gain valuable skills and insights into Soft Tissue Massage and the extensive work with Students graduating from Victorian Dance College in 1996, Christian relocated to Melbourne Fitness Club on Collins Street in the year 1997. Whilst there, Christian shared his room with a Myotherapist who introduced him to Myotherapy and myofascial trigger points. Whilst furthermore conducting on-site treatments for several companies as an effective Occupational Health program.

In 2000, Christian enrolled in Myotherapy at RMIT to further his knowledge in providing improved treatments and results. Throughout his studies, Christian adopted many exceptional skills in the recognition of efficient movement patterns in several athletic environments including; Ballet, Rowing, Volleyball and Australian Rules Football. After his graduation in 2004, Christians career blossomed in the following years throughout his work with various sporting clubs such as Melbourne Storm (7 years), Essendon FC (10 years) and included 8 tours with the Australian Cricket Team.

In 2005, Christian took up residence at Multiple Sclerosis in Blackburn working with a variety of neural conditions, which subsequently led to home visits for handicapped which he continues to still do in 2016. He has also since provided treatment for performers from The Phantom of the Opera (1998), Oh What a Night, We Will Rock You (2004) and Dirty Dancing (2005), and in 2007 was given insight into the cycling world when an ex-Australian cyclist invited him to join his sponsored team.

Whilst his position with the Australian Cricket Team for international tours began in 2007, Christian furthermore worked with the Australian Kangaroos during the World Cup, at the Australian Tennis Open with a top 50 Player and the English Rugby league also during the World Cup. His practice was pursued in the following years of 2010-2015 through working with the Melbourne Rebels in their inaugural year, Springvale White Eagles in the round ball game and his support work with the Masters Hockey which he continues his support annually on National Tours.

His more recent role in 2015 has been obtaining his qualification to teach, and is currently embarking on his continued teaching through the Sage Institute of Massage, and further providing help to others entering into the industry as Remedial Massage Therapists.

Christian also offers onsite seated treatment including postural assessment and ergonomic recommendations.
