‘Nambour’s Hairloom , one of Nambour’s premium Hair Salons has been around for a while – 27 years in fact! In an industry which is traditionally transient, we continue to buck the trend.

Heather has filled the role of Owner/Manager throughout that time.

Kim has been an important member of our team for 19 years, and her friendly personality and technical skills make her clients fight for appointments!

Cathy has returned to us after a break from the industry, and we are glad to be able to offer her innovative skills
Nambour’s Hairloom is situated in Nambour’s main street – Currie Street and is about 300 metres north of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council Chambers and just east of the soon to be completed Coles complex.

Nambour’s Hairloom was purchased by Heather in 1985.

At that time it was known as Beryl Coiffures.

Our then team decided we needed to modernize, so we have proudly traded as Nambour’s Hairloom ever since
The hair industry is notoriously transient, but our salon doesn’t follow this trend – Kim has been with us for nineteen years and Cathy after a time away from the industry, has returned to the team.

Over the years the décor has changed, the paint colour has changed, the furniture has changed but the culture of the salon has remained. We are here to care for YOU!

As a team, we are conscious of the need to be involved in community activities.

We have participated in ‘Relay for Life” on a few occasions, fund raising for Ronald McDonald House, and the Sunshine Coast Amazing Race.

As a team, we enjoy one major social function per year – generally a long weekend away.

These trips are loads of fun.

We have visited a variety of locations including Sydney, Tamborine, Vanuatu as well as Hamilton and Stradbroke Islands and most recently Cairns. These are good bonding times – lots of laughs, a few drinks as well as some staff training.
