They all operate and practise as individual businesses but are linked via an ONLINE REFERRAL NETWORK giving patients the convenience of multidisciplinary care.

Our clinic has a homely atmosphere and is situated in a convenient location with ample parking on the corner of Edithvale Rd and Kinross Ave. N.E.T. therapists also operate from other locations around Melbourne (please enquire individually).

Our clinic does not have a receptionist, however you will be provided with your therapist’s personal mobile phone number and email. We just ask for your patience as calls cannot be answered during a treatment session. Whilst you are welcome to call your therapist, you are likely to reach their voice mail. In this case please state approximate dates and times that best suit. SMS, Email or Booking Online are preferred methods of contact when possible.

The aim of N.E.T. is to provide a secure and affordable facility for therapists to set up, and build up a practice with shared resources and minimal outlay so they can concentrate on providing an optimal level of service to their valued clients for a competitive price. We believe this small business approach leads to a more personal relationship between clients and therapists.

Andrew has been practising Massage since 1989 and as a fully qualified Clinical/Remedial Therapist since 1992. Andrew founded the Network of Elite Therapists in 2001 and hopes to mentor and add more independent therapists to his ever growing network.

Andrea began her studies in 2012. During this time she has been involved with various sports clubs as well as building a loyal client base. She joined N.E.T. in 2014 as a student whilst completing her Remedial qualifications in that year. Andrea’s enthusiasm and dedication has gained a steady following of clients during her tenure at the clinic.

Mark has been a Remedial Therapist since 2008 and completed his Adv Dip Myotherapy in 2010. Mark also lectures at RMIT, training future Myotherapists as well as instructing community gentle exercise classes for older adults.

Having been a competitive cyclist and swimmer and having worked with elite sporting clubs (Squash, Football, Swimmers, Runners, Triathletes and Cyclists), Mark understands the importance of balancing training and recovery in order to prevent injury.

With his wealth of experience, Mark has a thorough, professional approach to the assessment and treatment of muscular dysfunction, as well as guiding patients on injury prevention, health and fitness maintenance and rehabilitation.

Mark enjoys a good rapport with his clients, assisting them in returning to the sports and activities they enjoy.

Mark is available at Edithvale on Wednesday and Friday afternoon/evenings 2pm to 9pm and Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm.

Our consultation fees vary according to the market value of the local region and you will find our fees to be very competitive.

Due to ever increasing Merchant EFTPOS fees imposed by the banks, we encourage and offer a substantial CASH DISCOUNT for payment on the day.

The vast majority of our business comes from loyal regular clients and word of mouth. We believe our clients who attend regularly, and tell others, deserve to be rewarded. Our LOYALTY DISCOUNT terms are… 10% off subsequent appointments made within 1 month.

PROFESSIONAL FEES

REMEDIAL MASSAGE – MYOTHERAPY – PREGNANCY MASSAGE – SPORTS MASSAGE

Initial / 1 Hour Appointment – $80 (Loyalty Discount $73)

Extended Treatment 45mins – $70 (Loyalty Discount $63)

Standard Treatment 30mins – $55 (Loyalty Discount $50)

90 minutes  (Upon Request) – $120

Appointment durations are approximates only and may include interview/assessment, treatment and exercise. On subsequent follow up visits, your therapist may advise that you come in 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment to sit in our Infra-red recliner chair to prepare and warm your muscles.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We make booking reservations in good faith and ask our clients to respect our terms and conditions.

FOR CANCELLATIONS, WE REQUIRE 24 HOURS NOTICE PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT to organise other patients from our waiting list to fill your time slot. Unless you send a friend/family member in your place, if your time slot is not filled, a Cancellation Fee equivalent to your full consultation fee will apply and future bookings may require pre-payment.

Please understand, this is a necessary measure as last minute cancellations and vacant time slots result in therapist downtime that is not recoverable. Please help us keep our competitive prices sustainable.

A system generated email will be sent 24 hours prior to each appointment. We appreciate a brief reply to confirm all appointments.

PREPARING FOR AN APPOINTMENT

If there are  any xrays or imaging reports that are relevant to your condition, please feel free to bring them in. We can make copies of reports at the clinic.

If you have been referred by another Doctor or Health professional, please supply details. With your permission, we will contact and provide progress reports as required.

Please arrive on time to take full advantage of your session and consider wearing appropriate attire.

After your session, it is generally advisable to drink at least 1 glass of water.

ON-THE-SPOT
HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIMS

Most of the major health funds provide a rebate for Remedial Massage.

We use “HealthPoint” or “HICAPS” to facilitate direct On-the-spot claims. This allows our clients the convenience of paying only the remaining gap.

We encourage our clients to research their entitlements prior to coming to their appointment.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE (Pre and Post Natal Massage)

Gentle therapy for expectant mothers to relieve the aches of the back, neck and legs associated with being pregnant. Adjustments are made to the massage table and extra care is taken with positioning, including extra pillows and our specially designed, upholstered, pregnancy cushion.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Great for Pre & Post events for athletes and sports people.

Aides recovery, encourages blood flow to the muscles and increases flexibility…preventing muscle soreness and treating injuries as they occur.

RELAXATION AROMATHERAPY

A light soothing massage using various movements and scented oils to promote relaxation. A relaxed atmosphere with soft music makes this massage a great stress buster.

DEEP TISSUE

For those in need of deep muscle work for tension and adhesions buried deep in knotted muscles.

This therapy is also great for flushing out harmful metabolic toxins from the muscles thus aiding the Lymphatic Drainage System.

DRY NEEDLING and CUPPING

Your therapist may advise to incorporate dry needling or cupping into your treatment session to relieve stubborn muscle knots and relieve pain.

(This therapy does not incorporate the theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine, or stimulation of Qi energy meridians.)
