NordicHealth is a naturopathic and remedial massage clinic in Cremorne on Sydney’s North Shore, led by qualified practitioner Monica Andersson. NordicHealth offers both appointments in our clinic and home and corporate visits.

Meet Monica Andersson

My name is Monica and welcome to NordicHealth.

I was born in the south of Sweden in a small town called Ronneby. After school I studied nursing and after completing my studies I moved to the nearest city, Malmo, where I worked in the general hospital. Here I started in the medical ward, then later moving into intensive and emergency care.

I spent some time travelling in south east Asia and Australia and a few years later made the big move, settling in Sydney.

The intelligence and function of the human body has always fascinated me and given the opportunity to study this further along with naturopathy, nutrition and massage therapy was something that I was not going to turn down. I am continuously involved in furthering my knowledge in this field of natural health.

In 1996 I registered my business and started practising.

I truly believe in a holistic view of health where a non-harming, natural focussed approach is the way to healing. If we understand how the body works and work with it, we can maintain a good health or overcome ill health. Everyone who comes to see me will be looked after individually and holistically with great care and respect.

Apart from work I love spending time with my family. I have two daughters who are the absolute sunshine in my life! I also enjoy running, yoga, paddle boarding and endless walks with our border collie and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
