“The electrician and his apprentice were efficient, polite and answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves, which I appreciated. They notified me that they were on the way so I was prepared for their arrival. Excellent service.”

“be warned and check before proceeding. I received a flyer saying $99 block drain price for hand cleaner only. I know the issue required a machine and expected to pay more.

The guy turned up on time good and then said he will do me a deal or should that be STEAL and use the machine for 30 minutes and charge me $350. I had taken the morning off work and further rain was expected so I agreed to the price just to get the job done.

The guy spent 30 minutes total on site and then left.
The drain was still blocked and I was not going to give them anymore money.

please be aware that in my case they rip you off and the service provided is poor. I can say the above as a locally plumber was here & spent 2 hours and used camera and machine, total cost $250”

“We had used them for plumbing a while back and though they were great. This time started off as a check on the air-con unit $50 call out which ended up being over $600 for a 30 minute test. I made a complaint about the cost and they countered with a deal to refund the cost of the 30 minute air-con exercise if we went ahead with the installation of 3 fans. long story short, almost $2000 later 3 fans installed (which I supplied) and a 30 min air-con test to tell me that the unit is fine. That’s almost $400 per hour for a single tradie. The guys that came out were thorough and great but the cost and the pricing structure was not clear and in the end we feel like we were taken for a ride. Check quoting and make sure you understand what your up for before the job starts. The check of the house for “other” stuff that may need fixing was like a money grabbing exercise. Wont use them again. Give your hard earned cash to the little guys.”

“Very Very Expensive Plumbing Quote. I had Omega plumbing come to my house as we had blocked sewerage. Initial job was fine as they dug holes + sent cameras into pipes to find the problem. Tree roots had blocked the pipes in 3 places. Omega quoted $12,500.00 to fix this problem. I was not about to part with that large amount of money without a second opinion. Second quote from another local plumber was $2000.00. I paid omega $1400.00 for the camera work, inspections and the digging work they had started, but finished the job with the other plumber. Saved approx $9000.00. Moral of this story; GET A SECOND OPINION.”
