About Us
We believe communication is essential to gain the best outcome for our patients, thus we pride ourselves on encouraging strong channels of contact with GP’s, treating specialists, involved gym/personal trainers, coaches, rehabilitation specialists and insurance companies.
Our facilities include a well-equipped gym including Pilate’s reformer and we have private treatment rooms available. We also conduct aquatic physiotherapy classes at a local pool.

Meet our Staff
Jenny O’Neill
Jenny commenced in private practice over 20 years ago in Adelaide and continued in this area on moving to the Hawkesbury region in 1999. She opened O’Neill Physiotherapy in March 2008 at Glossodia. In her 30 years as a physiotherapist Jenny has gained extensive experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Jenny completed her Master in Health Science (Sport Physio) at Sydney University in 2003 and gained the title of APA Sports Therapist after further study in 2004.
Her sporting experience ranges from local level netball, soccer and cricket to international level representation as the physiotherapist for the Australian under 21 and Under 19’s team physiotherapist. Jenny was also the physiotherapist to the Northern Ireland team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Jenny spent six years as the Sydney Swifts physiotherapist and has extensive experience with Netball NSW both as a presenter and physiotherapist. Jenny’s expertise in the treatments and prevention of sports injuries is widely recognised resulting in her lecturing at the Australian Institute of Sport. Jenny has also contributed as a writer for sporting publications and educational DVD’s.
Jenny has treated international and national level athletes in many sports including:

Jenny has a particular interest in adolescent sporting injury prevention.
Carolyn Whitson
Carolyn has over 30 years’ experience in physiotherapy after graduating from Queensland University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1981.
Carolyn has experience in treating many conditions with a special interest in hand rehabilitation including pre and post-operative treatment, scar management, splinting and casting. Carolyn is the author of published papers in various Australian journals and has presented at physiotherapy conferences. She is an associate of the Australian Hand Therapy Association, with over 15 years’ experience in the treatment of hands.
In 2012 she undertook a six month sabbatical in England. This has extended her knowledge into different treatment techniques and protocols especially pertaining to hand and upper limb treatment.
Carolyn has extensive musculoskeletal experience, including having been the physiotherapist for NSW State Netball teams. Her knowledge and experience also extends to work place injuries and temporomandibular (jaw) pathology.
Carolyn also has a keen interest in management of the ageing process and optimising functional abilities in our senior citizen’s.
Joanne Rose
Jo is our senior receptionist and office administrator. Jo is responsible for accounts, rostering and general overseeing of the clinic. She has brought to the practice many years of private /hospital administration experience.
Sally Whitton
Sally achieved a Bachelor of Health Science in personal development health and physical education at University of Western Sydney. She then furthered her studies completing a Diploma in Remedial Message therapy in 2014.
Sally is employed as physiotherapy assistant as well as providing one on one massage (health fund rebate available). She is a member of the AAMT.
Sally has undertaken further studies in the following areas:
• Safe, beneficial massage to oncology patients
• Certificate in Pregnancy Massage
• Myofascial release
She has a keen interest in sport and has played representative netball from junior ranks
Danielle Clay
Danielle Graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2015 with a Bachelor of physiotherapy. Currently in her first year of practice, Danielle is gaining a wide range of experience by working at O’Neill Physiotherapy and providing primary care for the Hawkesbury District Netball Association at club and representative level at State Age Championships.
In December 2014 Danni travelled to Cambodia to further her studies, assisting with the provision of physiotherapy treatment to inpatient/ outpatient children and adults managing a wide range of conditions including stroke, cerebral palsy and numerous other neuromuscular conditions.
Danni is a keen horse rider and has been doing so for the past 19 years, competing in both local and state levels.
Johanna Simpson
Johanna joined the team in December 2014. She is currently in her third year at the Australian Catholic University studying Physiotherapy, and is working part time behind the reception desk as well as picking up skills working with the physiotherapist when required.
