Our small, hardworking and friendly team is able to know you as a person, not just as a name in the database! We are based in the Brisbane suburb of Lutwyche, just 4kms from the CBD.  Our clients are based in the greater Brisbane area as well as Cooktown in far North Queensland.

Meet the Team
We pride ourselves on being a “paperless” office, which greatly improves our efficiency. This advantage has great benefits – we can all keep track of all our work in progress, our environment is exceptionally clutter-free, and we very seldom (if ever) lose documentation!

Our “prevention is better than cure” approach toward administration duties also has a positive effect on industry knowledge. The staff at O’Neills Accountants are always looking to increase their knowledge of the industry and pass on a superior service to their clients. All staff take advantage of the training that accompanies our software programs and other administration duties to increase efficiency on office workflow. Our professional staff attend regular seminars to keep them up to date with the latest tax changes in Australia.

Fiona O’Neill

Principal; C.A.
With more than 20 years experience in the accounting industry; Fiona is able to promptly address and respond to any and all client queries. Now as a registered Tax Agent, she provides a superior service in all aspects of accounting and tax.

Prior to setting up her own operations Fiona worked in a number of boutique accounting firms in Brisbane and Central Queensland. She also has a unique insight into the day-to-day operations of a small business, having worked as the Principal Accountant for an electrical contracting firm on Brisbane’s Northside.

Fiona has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Outside of work, Fiona likes to do Martial Arts and spend time with her children.
Marita Dore

Senior Accountant
Marita joined O’Neills in November 2014 after having a period of limited work as she raised her boys. Prior to children Marita was a long serving employee of a second tier city accounting firm initially as an undergraduate working her way up to manager level. She brings to the office a wealth of knowledge in the accounting and tax field.

Clair Kingsman

Reception / Administration
Clair joined O’Neills in February 2016 having had a long history in administration across a broad range of sectors. She has brought to the role superior communication skills and a customer service focus which will prove invaluable in her ongoing client contact role.

Stacey Downing

Client Services Officer / Administration
Stacey joined O’Neills in February 2013 to ease the load on our previous receptionist and also to support the accounting staff. Stacey is the person that will save your MYOB file and check that it opens when it comes in. She is also the person who goes through all the paperwork clients submit whether electronically or in paper format and puts it in an order for the professional staff to complete their work. When she is not doing this, she works on Xero bookkeeping for some of our business clients. Stacey has become so proficient in Xero that she will answer many of the questions clients call in with in relation to processing of transactions in Xero.
