Professional Background

Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant and the Managing Director of Opulento Business Services. Chris started his career at boutique tax & business advisory firm Alwyn Peffer Chartered Accountants in 2003. Chris has experience in providing accounting and advisory solutions to clients across a broad range of industries and sectors including medical, construction, mining, agriculture and professional services.

Chris graduated from his undergraduate degree with Distinction from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). During Chris’ CA studies he attained meritorious performance (top 5% nationally) in the taxation module of the Chartered Accountants Program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).

Chris is also a sessional academic at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Chris is employed by the QUT Business School to teach in the fields of finance, management, accounting and taxation law.
