Pandanus Contractors is a BSA Licensed Plumbing and Drainage company that looks after the plumbing and drainage maintenance of many schools, shopping centers, sporting facilities, hotels, apartment blocks, town house estates and residential properties.

Managing Director Peter McGrath has over 25 years experience in Plumbing and Drainage.

Peter started his plumbing and drainage career with a plumbing company on the Southside of Brisbane who looked after all the new and maintenance work on residential properties, shopping centers and housing estates.

After 5 years, Peter was offered an opportunity to work with Brisbane City Council – now known as Urban Utilities. Peter was an on-call Leading Hand Plumber looking after the Brisbane CBD.

Peter has excellent experience in all Water Utility Maintenance such as:-

Broken water services, leaks at water meters, leaks at isolation valves, leaks at services, investigation and source leaks.
Installation of new 20mm – 50mm including bulk estates.

Substitution of installation of water meters, new mains change overs and relays.

Installation of pressure gauges, test points, sample points and chlorination points.

After 14 years with BCC, Peter branched out on his own and after only 6 months as a Sub Contractor was offered a business contract with a large Rainwater Tank Manufacturer, looking after all the Installations in South East Queensland. Pandanus Contractors Pty Ltd was born.

After the Rainwater Tank boom, the business direction changed to plumbing and drainage maintenance and local building work.

Pandanus Contractors has a strong client base ranging from residential properties, builders, schools and clubs.

In a short amount of time, the company has gained many customers from word and mouth due to our quality service and workmanship demonstrated at every job.

Some of the local schools we look after are St Peter Chanel Primary School, Ashgrove State School and Rainworth State School.

Clubs we maintain are the Aspley Hornets Football Club and the Caxton Hotel in Paddington.

All our employees hold Positive Notice Blue Cards issued by the Commission for Children and Young People.
