“I signed up months ago for a discounted course of six jetpeel treatments (face only) for well over $2000. I received what seemed a generic sales pitch from the owner, but signed up because I wrongly thought (due to outdated news articles) that this was the only place in Melbourne that performed jetpeel. As part of the sales spiel I was assured I could get an after photo on that day to compare. Once i had completed the treatment I was directed to the counter to pay and was told they had run out of time for the after photo, but I could have it next time. After my second treatment I was told, oh no, we only ever do the photo at the end of the course. And after my final treatment I was told I would have to make a special appointment for that. I was also very concerned after my third appointment there seemed to be a mass exodus of staff. I was very worried that most of the new staff were only just being trained in the jetpeel treatment and when I requested to book in with the owner, I was told, sorry, she only does celebrities!! To add insult to injury I have since found at least 3 other places in Melbourne that do the jetpeel (same machine) starting from $180 per treatment!!! They are Beauty House, Self Centered and Minoos Laser Clinic in Collins Street. I can personally vouch for the people and service at Minoos , as they actually treat you like a celebrity!”

“My experience was profoundly concerning and disappointing. 40 minutes wasted listening “scientific” assessment of my skin, the only cure for which was a course of treatments costing $3500+. Their ‘normal’ facial was preceded a 3 page legal disclaimer – very scary. Unsure what their medical qualifications may be, but go to a trained doctor or dermatologist if you want trust-worthy skin assessment and advice.”
