Fellas: there is a happy medium. called Patricks For Men. We are currently based in Bondi Junction in Sydney, but the plan is to open many more places as the gospel of our no-nonsense style spreads.

The Story

6 years ago, I saw a gap in the Australian market for a luxury men’s hairdressing salon. At the time, I was an unsatisfied electrician of eight years and knew there was more to be achieved. So I re-mortgaged my house and opened Patricks.

I knew nothing about hairdressing or running a business, but being out of my comfort zone forced me into learning both very quickly. After a costly shop fit-out, we opened without enough money to pay the staff at the end of the week. In the position of make or break, through a lot of hard work, we built Patricks into a really successful business. We even won Australian Hair Salon of the Year.

After running a salon and realising the lack of luxury men’s haircare, we decided to develop our own to fill the growing demand from our clientele.
