Our Practice 

Pinnacle Partners is a professional accounting firm offering traditional services with the goal of making a difference in your financial affairs.

With origins in the early 1980’s under the tenure of Graham Litchfield trading as Litchfields, our present day firm has evolved into a leadership team of two Directors and ten experienced members all striving to provide the advice and attention you deserve along with the benefit of their collective experience.

Our clients value our ability to provide advice in a broad range of financial matters, all with the goal of helping them achieve financial success.

Ben Teng
Director

With over 20 years experience in the accounting industry including stints overseas with multinationals, Ben draws on a wealth of practical experience to benefit our clients.

A Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Tax Institute allows Ben to provide technical guidance. However, Ben’s passionate “bigger picture” approach given to clients affairs, along with his consulting focus provide certainty for growth and all round business performance.

Ben has significant experience in a range of industries including Medical, Professional Practices, Small to Medium Business, Retail and navigating the complexities of International Taxation and Migration matters.

A keen mountain bike rider and gym fan you will find Ben balancing his time outside of the office between these pursuits and his love of a good meal.

Danny Copley
Director

Danny is a Fellow of Institute of Public Accountants with over 20 years’ experience in the accounting industry. Along with being a qualified licensed financial planner he is also a registered SMSF auditor.

Formerly a partner in a large Gold Coast based practice specializing in Small Business and Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Danny has broad based experience in many industries, with a particular emphasis on the Medical and Management Rights Industries.

Danny’s community spirit is evidenced by his involvement in many charities on the Gold Coast and his position as treasurer of the Carbine Club supporting junior sport. Recently Danny has been awarded a Paul Harris Fellow for his services to charity.

A rare individual having been born and bred on the Gold Coast, Danny is an accomplished fitness tragic and talented musician. Marathons and Ironmans aside, there’s a rumour his wife fell in love with the sound of his piano before laying eyes on him.

Karla O’Donnell
Accountant

With more than 16 years of accounting experience Karla joined our team at Pinnacle Partners in June 2012. Karla studied locally at Griffith University.

With her all-round knowledgeable approach in providing taxation, accounting, compliance and business services, Karla simply enjoys what she does. In particular, forming a professional working relationship with clients to understand their needs and assist them to achieve their business goals.

Here at Pinnacle Partners, we have experienced first-hand Karla’s true belief of following ‘systems and processes’. She aims to provide positive guidance, whilst assisting you to implement systems effectively within your own businesses.

After relocating from New Zealand in 1998, Karla is our resident ‘Kiwi’ in the office, which makes for great friendly Trans-Tasman rivalry and office banter.
Karla loves to travel and hopes to visit many countries and experience their cultures in her lifetime. Mostly she enjoys great company, great food and great wine.

Jarka Klouba
Accountant

Having joined the team in 2007, Jarka’s advice and assistance has become integral part to the growth of the business. Jarka has a Master’s Degree of Professional Accounting.

Jarka thoroughly enjoys her role, appreciating the opportunity to work with such a supportive and positive group who have genuine interests for their clients business and financial matters.
Having a Broad Based experience to most compliance needs and circumstances, Jarka is constantly applying her knowledge to help clients with issues that affect them, while allowing them to concentrate on the day to day issues of running a business.

Born and raised in Czechoslovakia and fluent in three languages (Czech, Slovak and English), Jarka is able to assist international clients by breaking down the interpretation barrier.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family, going camping and reading books. Jarka recently completed in the Gold Coast Marathon.

Cris Dula
Accountant

Cris first started working in public practice in 2006 and has been with Pinnacle Partners since early 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and is currently finalising her Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) accreditation.

With over eight years of professional experience assisting clients with their taxation and financial compliance, Cris has a strong focus in the Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
With her Philippine background and fluent in Tagalog, Cris can provide business advice and services to expatriates of the Philippines.

Cris is always wearing a smile in the office and at home. She enjoys long movies and time spent with her family and friends.

Vanessa Darby
Client Services Adminstration

Vanessa joined the firm in March 2014. She is the friendly face and voice that welcomes our clients to Pinnacle Partners and her cherry demeanour is infectious throughout our office.

Vanessa provides key administrative support to our team and liaises with clients professionally. She has over 7 years administration experience within accounting practices. Vanessa hopes to one day become an accountant herself as she enjoys assisting with compliance of various matters.

Vanessa is a true-blue resident of NSW, when the warmer months are upon us she handles the daylight saving confusion with ease.

Vanessa’s proudest personal moment was becoming a mother to her son. Her weekends are filled with time spent devoted to her family.

Caitlin Admans
Client Services Administration

Caitlin is currently undertaking a traineeship with our firm.

Along with Vanessa she provides key support to our team and to our clients.

We feel fortunate that we have never had to use Caitlin’s Black Belt skills for any debt collection matters to date.

John Manning
Audit Manager

John Manning is a qualified CPA with 20 years experience and our resident Auditor.

John’s easy going nature and rugged good looks might have something to do with the high number of repeat requests we have for him to attend our clients. We are happy to assist in making what can otherwise be a mundane routine trust account review into something more appealing to our clients.

Sean Robbie
Insurance Associate

Sean is our resident Risk Insurance guru with 20 years industry experience. Originally having trained as an underwriter with Mercantile Mutual and with roles at ING, Asteron, IFMA and PIS, there’s not much about Risk Insurance that Sean hasn’t seen.

As a genuinely independent broker Sean genuinely enjoys sifting through the multitude of policies in the market place along with ensuring claims are processed swiftly if required.
