A short history about the company

Powell Business & Tax was established by Garry Powell, who in 2001 purchased the existing practice. The firm has enjoyed strong and steady growth for over 10 years, largely due to referrals from existing clients. With a well-founded client base in its local area, the services of Powell Business & Tax continue to be utilised by clients as far as South Australia, Tasmania and Northern Queensland.

Garry Powell – Managing Director
Bachelor of Business/ CPA

Garry Powell has over 15 years experience working in small accountancy and tax practices, preparing varied types of tax returns for different clients.

Clare Powell – Practice Manager
Clare has been with the firm since 2001 and she is usually the first point of contact. She covers all areas of office management, including maintaining ASIC/corporate registers as well as mail handling.
