Pilates is a method of body conditioning that integrates muscle control, breathing, flexibility and strength. Clinical Pilates integrates clinical knowledge, latest science and the Pilates method to provide a safe, effective and evidence-based exercise regime that meets your needs.
Your individual assessment with the Physiotherapist will identify specific areas and fitness components to target.
We have individual Clinical Pilates sessions, and small group equipment sessions of 2 to 4. This ensures a high level of care for every client.
You may require a highly supervised equipment based program, using the Pilates Reformer or Trapeze Table. Or for some clients an effective home stabilisation, awareness and flexibility program is best suited.
Health Insurance rebates apply to Clinical Pilates supervised by a physio at Precision if you have extras cover. Medicare rebates may also apply for Clinical Pilates
Pilates Health & Rejuvination
For many people, cardio, weights and large classes just won’t cut it as far as toning, elongating and stretching those difficult areas goes.
If you are looking for something a little different that improves many aspects of your fitness and gets you in touch with your body, Clinical Pilates with the reformer and trapeze table is for you. Certain features of fitness can be targeted, such as posture, endurance, abdominal strength and tone. You can also choose to stretch areas you know are not as flexible as they once were, all with the gentle assistance and resistance of Pilates equipment. Careful instruction from a physiotherapist with extensive knowledge of the Pilates technique will provide a great challenge if you’re looking to push your physical limits.
You’ll be surprised at the wide range of exercises and pure physical challenge provided by the Pilates equipment if you’re ready to take your body to the next level.
People recovering from pregnancy, illness, excessive stress or an inactive lifestyle will also benefit greatly from Clinical Pilates.
