Welcome to Precision Physiotherapy
Unique Treatment approach
One-to-one treatment sessions: Our physiotherapists will only treat one client at a time to ensure quality care. We do not ‘duck-out’ to treat another patient in the next room.
100% hands on manual therapy: No electrical machines, tools, hot-packs or gimmicks. National guidelines do not recommend electrical machines like ultrasound or interferential. Tools or gadgets have short lived benefits (3-5 mins) if any benefit at all! Hot-packs may help relax spasmy muscle temporarily – we will advise if you should do this at home.
Professional assessment and treatment: All of the physiotherapists have a professional university standard qualification as a minimum requirement. We operate as an evidence based practice, only using clinical approaches proven and recommended through research and national guidelines. We have a weekly professional development program to keep us up to date with current evidence-based guidelines. Our senior therapist who oversees our professional development is highly qualified (BSc, GradDip, MMedSc, MMT, Phd candidate, Dry needling >16years)
Wide variety of techniques: We use a multi-modal approcah, including Joint mobilisation, Joint manipulation “Click”, Myofascial techniques, Trigger points, Anatomical Acupuncture (optional at no extra cost), prescription exercise programs, nerve desensitising and mobilising, conditioning…
Personalised programs: You won’t just get a pre-printed hand-out. We consider your condition as well as your work, sports, hobbies and goals. Your rehabilitation plan revolves around your condition and lifestyle.
Ability to refer for X-rays and MRI: If we see the need, we can refer directly for X-rays or MRI. Xrays of spinal regions e.g. neck and/or back can be done at no cost to the patient.
