“The person who booked my appointment was polite and helpful, sadly, the person who tended to my nails was not so nice. Having never had a manicure before, i wasn’t quite sure what to expect, and i told them this in the hope that they might give me some idea of what they were doing. Nope, silence. Silence wouldn’t have been a problem, if they weren’t so incredibly rough. It was painful when they were filing away, but i thought perhaps it’s normal for it to hurt. I’ve since been informed that it’s not. About half an hour later one of cuticles began bleeding, shortly after the entire finger was aching and red. To top if off, the nails look awful. The tips are crooked and uneven- they look better when i glue stick-ons on at home, which i will be doing from now on.”
