“I dont generally write reviews for things like this however i just wanted to as this issue seems to be a concern among many people i know who get treatments done at your shops.
I recently had a really lovely ultra calming facial at the winter garden store. The facial and the girl who did it was great (except you never got the foot massage that was listed).
My complaint is about the dreaded sales pitch that you know is coming the whole time and it honestly put a dint in my whole experience. I have had many treatments done at your salons over the years and there always seems to be this push at the end to purchase the products. I was honestly lying there trying to relax throughout the facial while always at the back of my mind was the worry about having to get out of the annoying salesmanship at the end. Some of the staff are worse than others. Some make you feel terrible for not purchasing the products.
I just dont understand why a shop like yours that is obviously in a profitable position needs to engage in these salesman practices that just leaves the whole experience with a bad taste in your mouth. Are your staff working on a commission base? I know some of the time it generally is about trying to help you with skin concerns but you honestly know that most of the time its all about making the extra dollar..
It absolutely turns me off going back to your salons for any treatments which is a shame.”

“It appears I have also fallen victim to the hidden clause of not honouring vouchers on a Sunday. As I purchased the voucher online I did not see the clause hidden away in the fine print. I wish I had come to Facebook before purchasing to see the feedback received in regards to this matter. Please see my page post for more information.

Misleading and irresponsible business practices seem to be the norm for this company. Given the continued complaint I can see on this page alone regarding the hidden clauses for vouchers one would think that this business would have done something by now to make the restrictions more transparent.’

“I have been a loyal customer for many years,but I have to say I am very angry that you have a policy that you cannot use gift vouchers on Sunday, what I don’t understand is that to have the same treatment is the same cost regardless on what day, you happily take the money from the voucher earn interest from the money with out doing the job. But will not accept them on a Sunday, I work full time, have children and the only time that I can use it is on a Sunday,plus my Husband was not advised at the time of purchase that it was only able to be used on certain days or written on the gift voucher. I will be certainly be taking my business elsewhere.”

“Very disappointed – Over the years I have spent hundreds of dollars on products and treatments from Pure Indulgence Salons. Today I tried to use a gift voucher to purchase some product only to be told I was not able to since it was a Sunday. Treatments on a Sunday is one thing I can understand, but products!? Now I’ll have to make another trip on a day that isn’t a Sunday just to buy some face wash. This is one sure way to drive customers away from store purchases, to buy all products from online sellers.”
