I am a mother. I am a sister. I am a daughter.

I love the feeling of sunshine on my skin.

I love nature, the great outdoors.

I love trees and I love all things rainbow.

Rainbow Tree is an extension on me.

A reflection of my belief; that when you put good things out; good will come back.

I am co-creator of a world where all people consider their actions in the interest of the greater good.

I dreamt of a place where parents could shop with confidence and with ease.

A one-stop natural parenting shop where mothers like me could find what they needed to support themselves while caring for their little people and while supporting Mother Earth and all her inhabitants.

Rainbow Tree opened it’s doors for business in November 2006.

My third child (I now have four) was 8 months old and in the shop with me everyday.

My elder daughters were in reception and class two of the newly opened Trinity Gardens Primary School Steiner Stream.

I surrounded myself with things that I love and in turn was surrounded with like minded people.

Samara has been here for 8 years now. Many of you will know her face as well as my own.

We have co-parented this rainbow baby together. With respect for one another as working mothers and as a whole.

I have learnt so much about parenting from her; observing her lead by shining example.

Earlier this year we welcomed Bec, The Wild Creative to the team.

An aetheric beauty, she has  gifted us with her gentle wisdoms at her craft classes on Saturday mornings.

Rainbow Tree has supported many working women over the years, staff members and Natural Therapy Practicioners.

Massage Therapist and Celebration Day for Girls facilitator Fiona House has also been here for 8 years.

Her energy and that of others who have shared this space has greatly contributed to the deeper, underlying ethos of nurturing and healing we are here to share.

I have learnt so much along this journey, but the simple things remain the same…

I am far from a perfect mother, a perfect sister, a perfect daughter.

I am still learning everyday, challenging and exploring my beliefs and accepting that some things “just are”.
I believe in leading by example and teaching our children respect for themselves and respect for the world they live in.

I would not be here were it not for the ongoing support I receive from my family.
