The Recon Plumbing Story

Recon Plumbing humble beginnings started with Tony – who has always been interested in plumbing at a young age. With his family involved in the construction industry, he was always on construction sites and got to watch as building projects got finished from start to finish.

A “people person” by nature, Tony loves to meet and interact with a lot of people. He had always known that he is not the “desk type” kind of person: just sitting on a chair everyday while working. Tony is the kind of person who wants to be out there on the field while solving a lot of challenging problems and closely interacting  with his clients.

Following his inner voice when he came of age, he decided to start plumbing in 2006 at Chullura Tafe. Through dedication, pure passion and genuine  interest, he pushed through Tafe while getting awards for his high examination scores along the way.

Tony eventually graduated on 2012.

During Tafe, Tony applied as an apprentice for a big plumbing firm, got accepted and became an apprentice for 4 years and a journeyman for 2 years.

Once his apprenticeship period was over, he gathered all his available resources, took a deep breath, and made the decision to start his own company. And thus, Recon Plumbing Services was born on September 2013 with a total of 4 members: Tony, a veteran tradesman, and 2 apprentices

Immediately after establishing Recon Plumbing Services, Tony got his very first project for a very high end cafe in North Sydney. The project involved taking care of all the plumbing requirements of the whole cafe from scratch including installation of new kitchen sinks and gas installations and commercial drainage.

After completing his first project, Tony has never been more keen on taking more projects and dealing with more people. At that moment, he knew that he is at the right job

Over 300 plumbing projects later (and counting!), Recon Plumbing Services is still here and targeting all of Sydney’s plumbing problems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
